This is going to be one hell of a cool game. I'm totally psyched for the multiplayer (not gonna lie, I don't usually go for the single player in games).

I'm suprised this forum isn't being spammed with topics every day. My guess is advertisement. I only found this game because I was on the Eidos website and decided to look through the game list.

This is a GREAT idea and I've always wanted someone to do something like this after I learned about Fleet Command. The game looks fantastic as well.

Keep up the awesome work guys, I'm excited. I hope it really comes out during the 1st quarter of 2007. I've had my fill of dissapointment with the delays that have been going on this gaming year.

heh yeah im pretty happy that I just found out about the game. It seems like it's gone through quite a lot of release dates :D I really hopy it comes out 2007.....if this game is as awesome as it looks and sounds so far...then it's going to be pretty darn big.

Great, finally the site was updated! Started to worry, that this potential game was gonna die quietly ... Good to see that it is still alive, been follwing this game for years now. The first clip from this game allready showed its potential.

Now textures are looking sweet, models of ships and planes too. Finally a stratergy game, that seems to fit in my needs. Looking forward to its release!

I cant wait either.Sure there have been a few good naval games,but this one looks incredible!I have been waiting for along time for a good naval game (Im not really into sub sims much somewhat slow and boring imho) since Destroyer Command came out.

Havent heard anything about a new Destroyer Command comming out that you can mulitplay SH3,so this game will give me my much needed naval battle fix.
I used to work for the department of the navy btw.

Chip..did you ever play PTO or PTO II for the SNES?those were great games.(or anyone here for that matter)

Pacific General was an awesome game. Battlestations Midway has reminded me of that game. It is good to find another fan. If only I could remember where the game is now.... I actually wrote the Primagames strategy guide for Pac Gen when it first came out. Did you every play the Great Naval Battles series by SSI? They had a couple set in the Pacfic and were a lot of fun. I remember spending lots of hours playing through those scenarios and campaigns.

One of the things I loved about Battlefield 1942 was the naval units and the Pacfic Maps. BS Midway is going to offer this on a bigger scale, without having to worry about individual soldiers. We can concentrate on the ships, planes, and subs. If only it were January already :rolleyes:

Nope, never did. The wife always wanted me to play games that she would enjoy watching like Zelda and the likes. I was a big fan of Battlehawks 1942 on my Amiga so I guess you could say I have always been interested in the Pacific Theater war and sooo cna't wait for the game.

It was about 2 1/2 years ago I heard about this game on Gamespot. Ever since I have not missed a day looking for updates looking at the trailers 1-5 times a day. It was love at first sight, lol. This is the type of game I have been waiting for a very long time. Everyday that goes by without news of the game or its release is just painful. I'm purposely buying an XBOX 360 so I can play this game.

In other words I'm dieing, please just finish the game. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I have been psycked about the game what seems like forever. Heck, I remember even talking about it on Gonegold (which is gone). I think I have pestered everyone about like Mithis, Eidos, Sci and those others in between.:D Heck i even did a screen saver and sent it to Eidos several months ago. :D
