Shooting on/in a vehicle?

Is this possible? For example can I shot things whilst on a bike or in a car?

Surely this is possible? Rico can paraglide, hold onto plane wings at high speeds, stand on moving vehicles, yet he can't stick a gun out a window, or hold the bike handle with one hand and fire a weapon?

This much be possible, cos I'm finding it impossible to kill people in moving cars when that is my mission to do so? What am I suppose to do if Im on a bike.. ram the car til it blows up? Or am I suppose to use the grappling hook that, for me, doesn't seem to work? Or am I doing wrong too? How do you use the grappling hook on the back of a car that is moving?

I have found the best way to complete many of the quick fire side missions was to wait for an enemy chopper to fly low (usually when its shootin) and then grapple onto it. Then just lift yourself up high enough to get near and as soon as you see the "enter vehicle" warning just press "e" real quick like.

The same goes for cars which if you aim at the rear section even from a fair distance you can latch on and get taken for a nice ride (powerboats are fun to grapple!)

As for your main question about shootin from within vehicles, I see your point but you have to just be as inventive as possible to take down targets.

Short answer to this is NO, or at least I havent found a way to use any weapons when driving, riding or flying. Damn shame really. Would be wicked to do a drive by shooting spreee. Muuuuuhhhhaaaaa

Nope, it's not possible I'm afraid.

What irks me is the way they make you use X on the 360 joypad to fire a vehicles weapons. This means you have to take your thumb off the right aim stick to press. Basically, you can't aim and shoot at the same time. wtf.

What the developers mean for you to do is go to the stunt position & jump onto the badguy's vehicle,then take it over,i guess it makes up for not being able to shoot in cars,although there's no reason why a guy who can jump out of a 10,000 feet high plane can't even put his arm out the window & fire,maybe in JC2?;)

Almost forget,just parachute off the bike & let the baddie fly off a cliff.

if you want to do the missions where you have to kill the people in cars you can call in a heavydrop and get the 4WD it has missiles and a machine gun(do this before you become under attak)

it is v.good for liberations, but not for army bases, as they are allready bullet magnets, but when there's missiles and tanks shooting at you then you dint want to be in any veichle

You are right as the tanks pelt you with missiles until you are dead and you barely have a chance to liberate that base.:lol:

I can't remember the name of the chopper at the Babylon safehouse (the one you unlock on mission 15 at the big airport) but it fires 4 rockets at a time and is devastating. It can easily take out military bases and cities that get swarmed with attack choppers.

Lately I'm learning the trick to chopper dog fighting is to NOT use the forward movement (W) key when they surround you as you can rotate quicker to get them in your sights if you're not moving forward. Rotating combined with elevating seems to keep you moving while turning to draw a bead on them.

I've also found that moving backward (S) while rotating is ironocally even better a lot of times.

Since the Hammerbolt is not a perk of any sidequest promotions, I assume it's in one of the army bases I raided? What are the firepower differences between it and the Delta Chimaera?

The hammerbolt fires four but they either have precision or a wave of destruction.
Precision isn't that good but the wave of destruction setting makes a very large shockwave.
The delta only fires 4 single missiles.

What do you mean by precision, the normal lock-on mode? Do you remember where this beast is located by any chance?

Okay precision means that your shot has to be accurate to kill the target otherwise not much happens.
They are located all over the place really.
If you want to get one in black then do a liberation of a city and one will pop out while you are doing it.
