What the hell is happening?

Ok.
Three days ago I was 86% done in Nepal . After leaving it aside for a couple of hours I came back to discover ALL my progress had been erased completely.
So I started again.
Today I finished TRL with 98% done (on Hard of course):rolleyes:
I open it up just a couple of minutes ago to try and find the last bronze reward I'd left behind in Peru.. to discover everything has been wiped AGAIN.
I checked the TRL file on my desktop to see if the Saved Files and autosave are still intact which seemingly they are, but of course I cant open dat. files from the desktop without opening the TRL game first. I've just checked it again and nothing has changed.
Why the hell is this happening??

Maybe you have a virus that is corrupting the saves?

No it's actually saving fine when you're playing the game. Most of the time you can exit and come back and play again from where you last saved. I opened it up twice when everything was scraped. It seems very random but
I have good virus protection on my latop and I would've known if a virus was attacking the saves.
Im not gonna rule it out though. I started again and I'm 98% already. I would have been seriously pissed however if I was a first-time noob who had almost finished but hadn't defeated the boss in Bolivia redux. It just irked me because I wasn't 100%..:mad:

The auto save is wipped out every time you load a save game, it does come up and warn you this will happen if you load a saved game. If you are not the only person playing Legend on you PC simply save the game before you exit, but if no one else is using you laptop then simply do not load a save game when you restart, just resume instead. Why is the TRL file on your desktop? Only the shortcut should be on the desktop
