It took me a long time after playing the Just Cause demo to calm back down. :o It was certainly exciting! :nut: My hands were shaking, my heart was thumping and my pupils were as big and black as olives after I stopped playing, and that hasn't happened while gaming in a long time. That was a good adrenaline rush rollercoaster ride of a demo. The graphics were very very pretty, and the interaction with other characters and their cars was intense. ;)

I advise a limit to the coffee or tea one drinks if one plans to play this game. ;) It's going to be FUN though.

I came in here the other day and was about to click on the Tomb Raider Legend forum, when I saw the Just Cause link just below. I didn't know that Just Cause was an EIDOS game.

My computer is too slow (nVidia GeForce 2 MX400) to play Tomb Raider Legend well. It goes down to 3 FPS in Bolivia Redux, so I bought an XBox 360 and the XBox 360 version of the game. It looks amazing on a 42 inch LCD HD TV with Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound.

But back to Just Cause.

After seeing your glowing post, I thought that I would give the Just Cause demo a try.

I've been through the demo many times now, and twice I have got the Protype vehicle on the road, but so far have been unable to reach the base before the dreaded sunset hits. It sure would be nice if you could reload the last checkpoint instead of having to start the geme all over again.

Today I finally finished the demo. It was a little disappointing. I was going across the bridge to the mountain top when the bridge blew up -- and it said "To Be Continued," just like the Tomb Raider Legend demo.

Just to be sure it wasn't a fluke, I played the demo again to the end, this time taking the short cut up the mountain -- same ending.

My heartbeat was well over 100. The end of that demo is definitely an adrenaline rush.
