Cancelled??????

A MAJOR game distributor told me, when I went up there to reserve my copy, as I was completely psyched about the game, that the game was cancelled for XBOX system, but all other systems were still a "go". I haven't really checked anywhere else other than other game forums, and no one knows about this cancellation, could someone please bring me to light on this? I have checked everywhere with no indication it has been canned, just this major company that says, "it's been cancelled".

By MAJOR game distributor, I mean a major company that has told me the game is cancelled, and to run the things, you need to have "employees". They oversee everything from opening the store, to closing the store, to selling games, pre-ordering games, everything would would expect from what you would call....a "retail" shop. 2 different employees told me this, a manager on one occassion and the assistant manager 2 weeks later.

That is exactly my point, this doesn't make sense. EB Games where I live says it's cancelled. I could order it online, but I was just going to wait. Because obviously I can't pre order a game that the store says is cancelled!!!:mad2: :mad2: :mad2:

Maybe your local EB store won't sell it, but as long as Eidos didn't make any official public statements regarding cancelling it, it's still a go... as far as we are concerned.

Im about to try the demo. Anyways, I don't know why it's still offered on the website and not in the EB game stores in my city, I have no idea, I don't care anymore. I'm just going to pre-order on the website. But can you imagine my frustration with this? I was pretty sure it wasn't cancelled, but they all keep telling me it ws cancelled for xbox, but, no one besides these people know. My brain is officially fried...:eek: :nut:
