question about commandos 1

hi,

First of all, I know this is not exactly the right place to post my question, but it seems like all the forums for commandos 1 have shut down.I just started playing commandos 1 and i have a question about the spy/green beret. When I use my spy to get the attention of a group of patrolling soldiers, and then i kill the last one with the green berets knife the others always turn around and shoot my green beret. I thought that a knife kill was supposed to be silent? Any thoughts on what it is i'm doing wrong?

You can´t eliminate enemy patrols, without raising the alarm, you have to distract them with spy so the others can go through, that´s the only solution, I think.

You can sometimes if you lay out the sappers trap, they get confused and then just walk away...takes a long time thought get get everyone.

In which mission do you refer to?

It is possible to eliminate a 3-man patrol, using the combined efforts of the spy and the GB.
