After I got the wheel working again with the waterfall, I made it through all the traps, jumped across a few cliffs, and lost communication with the guys @ the manor.

Then I couldn't get across the silver bars with the falling rock because I couldn't get a 2-handed grip on the 2nd silver bar! So I was an idiot and jumped into the water to see If I could find another way to get up the cliff.

I quickly realized I was in the same lake the entrance to the temple is, and realized (please tell me I'm wrong) that to get back to that point in the cliff, I had to go all the way through the temple again.

I got through the first row of shredding blades again without my rock to stop them, but in the second row of blades, I left the rock in at the end in such a way that one of the bottom blades is stuck on the rock while the other three are still trying to kill me. So I can't figure out a way to get by. Jumping and rolling isn't cutting it, because I'm blocked by the stuck bottom blade at the end.

Also, I didn't save before I jumped into the lake, and now I'm checkpointed at the traps.

Does anyone know of any other way I can get back to the cliff without going through the traps? Anything else I can do?

It all depends on whether or not the big boulder has fallen into the water or not. If your in the water looking up to where you have fallen from, the boulder would have been on the right side. The boulder falling is triggered from the top not the bottom where the water is. Try climbing up the rocks on the right, if the boulder hasn't fallen down you'll have to go back through the temple. - Don't worry, it'll be quicker this time if you do because you wont have to do the waterwheel puzzle again.

I die if I fall. It's a big drop.

But now I've finally made it back to the checkpoint I was at, and I STILL can't avoid the falling rock AND get a two-handed grip on the silver bar! I just swing around wildly and get flung into the cliff/waterfall.

How do I get a firm grip? Am I jumping to soon? Not pressing spacebar long enough? what?

nvm I figured it out. thanks.

I just made it here and have no idea what to do with the big wheel or how to make it work again. I killed all the mens now I'm clueless on how to get it working.

i don't want to give too much away here, but if you're really stuck you can take a look at this walkthrough...it's pretty darn thorough.
