Dunno about Lara's Mum, but yes! and I'm surprised how you mamnaged to point it out over the horror music and all. "I'll explode unless you pull out the sword!"

It was kinda hard but if you have a PS2 and the tv is on full blast it isn't too hard.

I figured out Lara's mum DID in fact go to Avalon. I think. :) :) :)

Yes, Lara's Mum went to Avalon, Lara tries to speak to her in the last level of the game.
