Well for the observation part I did fine. Who could fail that, really? Some crazy things that I say during my obsevation time was a guy wearing a hello kitty backpack, and a mailman in a trench coat that matched his uniform.
When it came time to the actually driving, I wasn't too nervous, but I wasn't very confident either. My left turns were really bad, but what can I say? It was my first time. Once I stopped at my first stop sign, He told me to take off and accelerate at a continued, moderate speed. My foot wasn't in the correct place so I repositioned it. The instructor yelled (maybe not that extreme) at me saying that I didn't need to pause during acceleration. I said "My foot was improperly placed, so I had to reposition it" Oh my crud! The rest of the lesson (and I'm sure lessons to come) he teased me about that quote. Quite funny as it was, I started getting annoyed of it. I was so glad I didn't say what I was actually thinking. I would have said "My foot was improperly placed on the acceleration pedal, so I had to reposition it," but I knew that would be too much. With the exception of my left turning handicap, I think I did good on my first lesson.
