PC controls - how to "release"

seems stupid, I've played TR games many times, and this new booklet with Legend is not helping me.

first of all... right here in the beginning, I can't get Lara to let go of a ledge to drop down... she wants to JUMP to her death! what controls do I need to use to have her "release" from a ledge to drop down?



also, I have noticed when using the keyboard or the arrow keys... I have her moving in a direction and when she reaches the end... he arrow or keyboard keys start going "crazy" and then the up or down arrows move her sideways... they keep changing... how do I keep from jumping Lara to her death if I can't count of the keys being the same each time I need a certain direction?

Hi Janelle, long time no see. :)

I'd love to help you, but I cannot get the game to run properly on my PC. Lara goes running off on her own a lot in my game.
I've noticed that Lara apparently seems to follow the direction the camera is facing, however.

I hope your problems turn out to be minor. A lot of people are having troubles with this game. :(

The default key to drop down from a ledge is F :)

I am beginning to understand the controls better. Thanks for the help, I did go to the Legend board and got more helpful hints as to handle that camera angle vs. lara angle problem with the controls.

I will say, the booklet left a lot out on how to control Lara's moves... dropping from a ledge, etc... and lets not forget how to swan dive, and all those other wonderful things Lara can do.
