I doubt the name will be such a 'in-the-face' hint that the game will present Avalon. The same way TR7 wasn't called "Quest For Excalibur" or "Arthurian Legend". I say stick to something simple and memorable. :D

Well for Tomb Raider 7 we had the "legend" of King Arthur and excalibur, so Tomb Raider 8 should be called "Myth" The myth of Avalon

I wish they were back to calling their games "Tomb Raider #", but they've abandoned that long ago...

Tomb Raider: Myth does sound good though.

We are assuming that the game will be based on Lara's search for her mother. As far as I know, Amanda made Lara destroy the last portal to Avalon, so there shouldn't be any other path to Avalon.

And I am personally getting tired of "Avalon". I see "Avalon" everywhere. Please! I want something different! Something that makes me say "WOW!". Don't you?

No there will be other dais's to find, Atlantis will most likely be in the next one as well, possibly Egypt, it was a 2 part story so you are just going to have to put up with:rasp:

I'm a little curious, where do you see Avalon everywhere? I havn't seen anything about Avalon in a long time...

I kind of like Tomb Raider: The Looking Glass myself, though Tomb Raider: Avalon is good and simple.

My personal favorite though is David070's title: Tomb Raider: Available in 2 Months... :lmao:

I think it should be:

Lara Croft
TOMB RAIDER
Crossing the Sands of Time

well we are not sure how Lara is gonna make it to Avalon so getting there will be half the fun so who knows where she will have to go to find another working stone dais? It seemed to work like a time portal so imo its a working title.

Actually l am very doubtful if Tomb Raider 8 will have Avalon in the title at all, Avalon will most likely only be a small part of the game, (important yes, but you will not see much if any of it)and they will not want to give to much away about the other locations in the game title either. l still think Myth is good as it could apply to one of the other locations as well, Looking glass, Crossing the Sands of Time are all good.
