Sound problems - fuzzy noise

loads up fine and everything except mouse is a bit laggy and more importantly the game emits a really piercing fuzzy noise constantly

i have a soundblaster audigy 2 ZS and win xp

tried updating etc.

think i remember this with the last hitman game too but i remember disabling eax fixed it, however it makes no difference in this game

anyone can help me?

Try fiddling with Sound Hardware Acceleration. Maybe it will fix it.

for some reason, the disabled eax property didnt take effect until the 3rd time i restarted the game

I also have a audigy2 ZS and the demo sounds fine with eax on or off, try to install an updated driver maybe? BM has great sound and music :) .
Environmental sound and music were definetly not has nice in contracts...
