Does anyone know if eidos/crystal dynamics are planning on ever releasing an update for the grapple crash that appeared in patch 1.1 or am i forever gonna be stuck with having to use version 1.0 of the game. i applied the patch because of the choppy next gen frame rates and because i was annoyed with having to redefine my joystick everytime i wanted to play the game, not only did the patch not solve the next gen problems but also introduced a new one in the form of not being able to grapple shiney objects, come on guys why dont you listen to us customers for once and sort these problems out, its really beginning to p**s me off now having waited for so long for the release and then to find out that the games got more bugs than an apple orchard. is it me or do software houses think that we're all just mindless idiots that will accept the rubbish they make without complaint, i would email them stating the problems i'm having but somehow i feel i would just be :mad2:

They don't care if we complain or not. They don't listen anyway.

And yes, they will continue to publish badly flawed, unfinished games as long as we're stupid enough to buy them. I can't believe I was dumb enough to give Eidos one last chance like this. Ah well, the joke is on me then! :(

Ah yes. I have always wondered why a bug report / call for help has to be full of rhetoric condemning whatever company or companies made the product. Anger is so cliche on the internet. Be different, be calm and courteous.

I know why you're game is crashing when you use the grapple although you don't really seem like you want to fix the problem. Your childish tantrum was misdirected, its not Eidos or Crystal Dynamics' fault at all. It's actually a bug with the no cd crack that was released with the V1.1 patch.

Lets assume you have a legitimate copy of Legend and don't want to deal with securom (understandable). All you have to do is obtain & use the updated fixed exe and... no more crashes. Or, put the original exe file back and put your DVD in your optical drive.

So, I suppose now you are going to apoligize to Eidos, Crystal Dynamics and all the other forum members who were unfortunate enough to read your rant? Great. I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks for the last reply. I didn't want to apply the 1.1 patch as I thought that I might get the same problem after applying the patch. TR is running fine on my machine, I just cannot enable the New Gen because I am running still V1.0 and 84.21 Nvidia drivers. Now I can savely install the 1.1 patch and the 84.56 drivers and try enabling New Gen.
