I installed Thief Gold a few weeks ago (thanks to the X:\setup.exe -lgntforce trick) and was playing just fine. Not a single error or anything. I had to do a clean install yesterday and when I got around to reinstalling Thief Gold, I can't play it. I receive the Indeo Codec errors. I did a search and found a few things, none of which work. I reinstalled the Codecs from the disc, still doesn't work. I tried Scrooge's Perma-Fix, still doesn't work. Tried running regsvr32 from the Run diaglog, and while the registration succeeded, I cannot play the game. Are there any other workarounds for this issue?
EDIT: I messed around with the Indeo Codec and some other things and it started working, strange. I just hope it continues to work all other times I play the game.
