Kazakhstan- what am i doing wrong?!

Hello all!

OK so i am frustrated.
I am on the boss bit on Kazakhstan and i just cannot kill the thing!

Took me a while to work out that you can use L1 to drag him into the position then fire at him with R1 to drain his health :rolleyes:

But here's the thing.

Ive pulled all the levers, ive shot and drained his health near on 15 times, and he's still there:mad2: my dad said when he did this bit he just kept shooting till it died.

My questions are- have i missed something? Is there a bug in my game? How many times do i have to drain his health? And am i doing something wrong? :scratch: I activate the power/electric all the time, but even after you drain the boss there is not enough time to activate all the power before he comes back!!:mad2:

I would be extremely grateful for some help, it is driving me insane!!!

You dont shoot it at all.

You have to get into the machine in the middle, and use it to push the four orbs away from you.
you'll see they make this sort of field around you.
If you manage to get the demon outside the field, it cant come in. If not, neer mind.
When the field is complete (all around you) the sword fragment about you gets released from its own little force field. Use the grapple and pull it out.
Level done.

I do this but still nothing happens. I cant seem to get the force field to stay for long, and even when it does the sword fragment is not released :scratch:
I'm guessing this boss shouldnt be taking this long?

Edit: will the sword remain released once the forcefield has gone?

hiya!

here is an extremely quick version of what you need to do

dont bother shooting the thing, it WILL NOT DIE with pistols

Instead, flip all 4 swiches (to where the little light is green)

then, go into the magic metalpulling thingy in the middle

there are 4 hanging spheres all around lara

blast them, do not try to pull them in (i have NO idea which keyboard key it is though because I changed them all)

anyhoo, keep on blasting at one sphere until its all the way up, youll know this when you see blue/purple light going through it

do this to all 4 spheres

also, if the monsterthing comes to close, blaast it as well, and it'll bug off

once all spheres have light surging through, get off the metal thingy

grapple ABOVE it, where the fragment is, aaaand thats it (lmao i dont remember what happens after that)
