Dragon in England:stupid cages

Hi, i know there has been threads on this discussion before but i just can't do it. How do i pull the cage on top of the dragons head? I thought that maybe you were supposed to grapple the cage and pull it down just as the dragon pops up out of the water, i tried that lots of times and it didn't work. I thought that maybe i should grapple the cage and pull it down before the dragon pops up out of the water so that it hits the dragons head as it pops up but that didn't work either.
Then I tried going right around to the other side of the tower thinking that i could grapple and pull as the dragon attacked lara so that its head would go under the cage and it would fall on him, stopping its attack but from that angle the grapple doesn't attach itself to the lever on the tower.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Get your guns out aim at the red target circles and start shooting em, it will make a sound and the dragon will be annoyed by them so he will look at them.. you then withdraw your weapons back in to your gun hostles and you then grapple the cage he is looking at. And pull it, and a cage will fall on his head. He will then destory it. You must repeat this pattern another 3times intill he faints. (Doesn't DIE) He will then show a screen to a gap in a wall. You must climb his body to get there. You then face him again and you must press the Arrow Keys or The Buttons if you are playing console version.

What's wrong with my description of how to do it in the other threads?

Shoot cat bell till get a deep clang. use grapple on lever. order of doing bells: front left, front right, rear right, rear left. If you suck at it turn off music, ignore snake and run except when shooting. Shoot catbell with automatic weapon if possible (it's easier) else hold down fire button with pistols. You should do it with a few times of practice and dont bother healing as you can do it all first time in one run though.

I'm having serious trouble with this too:( I am shooting those bells, but the creature doesn't even look in that direction.....all he wants to do is to chomp on Lara and spit toxic after her:mad: It only takes two toxic slimeballs and she's dead and since that ugly thing won't do anything apart from attacking her I have to reload again and again and again:mad: It's like it has turned deaf or something because it just doesn't care for the bells at all:( And I'm unfortunately not capable of running, shooting, dodging and grappling at the same time. What am I doing wrong???

I beleave the key is timing and guts to let Lara continue shooting the bells...without getting eaten:eek: :eek:
If u keep shooting,the serpent eventualy will look at the bells...thats when u have to be kwick and lower the gizmo on her head!!!

i would start first with the ones in the middle, wich are the ones who are more close to the serpent...:eek: :D

Thats how i managed to pass it anyhow, (after half an hour or so):D :D

Thanks, I finally got past that ugly lizard:D I actually started with the cages on the far sides, getting a bit of time to gather myself between each round;) The two on the bridge were nightmares and I found that at some point Lara wouldn't even grapple the correct lever, but the one on the other cage:rolleyes: Often she'd also just stand there with the grapple in her hand, no matter how much I pressed that friggin button to make her pull the lever down:rolleyes: Oh well, finally past that part and on with the show:thumbsup:

Thankyou for everyones tips, thanks to the tips i finished off the stupdi dragon and finished the game off without any hitches!
