how to kill the monster thing and get the artifact

well i cant remeber which level it is but its half way through the game and there is that fire dragon thing and then there is that eletric gun thing in the middle of the room what the heck am i ment to do and then there is the big ball things that when u fire at them they swing av got it so that all he air is being suckd up but what am i ment to do next.someone please help me!

Next thing to do would be to get the artifact. it's directly abouve the gun, and it is magnetic

Yes. When alle the orbs are pushed back and the electricity is all around (I suppose that's what you mean by air being sucked up) climb off the gun, face the camera above the gun and use the grapple

same problem here. keep trying and trying. just can't do it! I send the monster away. get off. point the camera up and use the grapple. thing is I can't even see the sword fragment. it just glows. nothing happens when I use the grapple and then the monster comes back... sigh.... does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? done exactly like it says in the thread, no luck.

Yes, I had a problem with that also. Try this: Target the monster with the magnetic gun. Press and hold L1 and you can pick it up. Then shoot it towards the bursts of electrical energy. if you hit it just right the monster will disapear for a few seconds. Now you can jump out and pull the levers. After you hit all four levers you will get a cutscene. The sword fragment will drop down from the ceiling. I think it's just above the gun. Now you have to get back to the gun and shoot all four bells. they will move forward and when you get all four forward at the same time you can target the sword fragment with the grapple and PULL. Cutscene. Good luck.

You must first get all three of the swing Balls to to pushed back by the machine in the center. Do this by aiming the gun then pushing the H and G keys(one pushs the other pulls) about 4 times until the ball locks back and shoots out light. Then quickly do the others. Once all three are pushed back you should be able to grab the frament with the grapple.

Hop in the magnetic gun ...I ignored the monster and just kept aiming at each large globe...using the G key to pull the orb back for momentum then tapping the H key repeatedly until the orb enters the electric field and lights up,keep rotating and aiming at all four until they react then you have to hop off the gun, and immediately grapple (Q) and pull with the (E) key then watch the cutscene...if the monster knocks you off the magnetic gun just hop on and keep the orbs lit up...it worked for me and I did'nt even worry about the monster...
