how do i kill amandas' dark spirit in kazakhistan? i'm sure the answer is easy, but when i'm about to kill him he vanishes?! how do i wipe him out?!

how do i kill amandas' dark spirit in kazakhistan? i'm sure the answer is easy, but when i'm about to kill him he vanishes?! how do i wipe him out?!

throw all 4 levers first then get on the gun, use it to push all 4 big orbs so they are all active at the same time, the field around the sword piece will drop and you then get off the gun and grapple the sword piece, you cannot kill the creature.

i've done all that..but how do i get the piece of the sword?!
