It seems like there are several issues with the Rumblepad controller. Here's my question... How do I get the analog thumbsticks to work?? Is there a setting that you have to enable to get the thumbsticks to work?? The D-Pad works, but when I try to assign the analog thumbsticks, they are not recognized. I know the controller isn't faulty because I use the thumbsticks with other games.
Also, where can I find the 1.1 Patch?
Any info would be appreciated!!

The patch is in a sticky topic in this same forum.
The left analog stick should work automatically, you don't have to map it manually. The right analog stick you can configure in the gamepad menu (with 1.1 patch) or in the camera menu (without 1.1 patch).
The D-pad can be used to map other things, like the inventory buttons, as is done on PS2.

Just to clarify things... You're saying the left analog stick works as soon as I enable the Rumblepad in the Control Options?

Yes.
Or actually, pre-1.1 your Rumblepad is always enabled. Post 1.1 you can explicitly enable/disable it in the Gamepad options.

What about the Patch though?? The one in this forum pertains to the Euro version.

The US version ships as 1.1, so no patch is needed.

I wonder why I can't configure the left analog stick then? I have the US version. Bought it yesterday...

You just can't configure it? Or it doesn't work at all?
Whatever your gamepad exposes as the primary direction control (the one you see in the Windows control panel as well) is the one the game will always use.

Well, I haven't tried the controller in the game. I thought I would be able to assign the left, right, up, down to the left analog stick, but the assigned buttons are on the keyboard as W,A,S,D.

Ok. You don't have to assign the left stick. It'll just work.

So the right analog stick and all other buttons, excluding the left analog stick can be programed then?

Both analog sticks can't be arbitrarily programmed, the left one is always movement. The right one can be configured to control the camera.
All digital buttons (incl. pressing on the sticks if your controller supports that) can be mapped to arbitrary functions.

How do I setup the controls of the right analog stick to control the camera?

There is a setting in the gamepad menu, it allows you to toggle through a few options to configure which analog functions of your controller should be used to control the camera. Just find the one that works.
