tombraider legend drops frame rate in ati X1800XL

Hey, I don't know if its just me, but i have an Ati X1800XL and when I turn on the next gen content, my fps drops to 20!!! I don't see anything special in the next gen content, they are the same shader effects of f.e.a.r where I get 80-100 fps!!! Is there a problem with Ati cards?!?! Are we going to get a patch??

this is my system...

AMD 3200+@2.4GHz
EPoX 9npa+ Ultra
1 GB kingston ram 2x512
Western Digital Caviar 250GB SATAII
Ati X1800XL @ 605/650 MHz

Still I believe you will need a card that supports shader3.0, yours does 3.0 but has 256 of mem. Maybe 512 is needed.

x1800's have 3.0 shader available, hence the reason he can even run nextgen.
