Detroit News stations Boycotting 25 to Life!

I am very upset at all these "mom's against" groups trying to take away all the freedoms that we have. They say "Its corrupting our kids into thinking it's alright to kill police". NO, The only thing thats disturbing is while they all blame the game makers for what their kids are and are not doing, Why don't they look into a mirror. It all starts at home. While I wouldn't let my child play this game, I DO. Its a classic cops and robbers type game. The only difference is, you can be the robber. When I found out about them boycotting the game, I had to check it out. So, I went to GameStop in my neighborhood and purchased the game. After playing it, I found that this is actually a great game. Better than I would have given it credit for before actually playing it. Anyways, I told the clerk about the boycott and he has the nerve to say to me, "The game should be boycotted!" He says "They game is bad for kids". I turned to him and said, "Um.......thats why the game is rated "M" for mature! No kids should be touching it!" I told him that if we boycott this game, then we should boycott all the violent movies too! He said just don't take your kids to those types of movies! I said "HELLO DUMB@$$, did you just hear what stupidity just spewed from your mouth!? Then don't buy the game for your kid and then complain about it!" Bottom line, the game is very good. I give it an 8 of 10 stars. I am just interested to see if you are all experiencing the same BS in your town. I don't know about all of you, but if this game does get boycotted, it will be a violation of my consitutional rights in my opinion. Talk it up!

I totally agree with you Ive played violent games since I was 10 and not one time did I ever think of killing someone or a cop. The kids that go out and kill someone already have problems people just use violent video games as a scapegoat cause they dont know really what their kids have been doing or are up to.

What we really need to do is form a Gamers Voice so that We are heard on these things. Right now they all do the talking. I am so tired of irresponsible Parents spending more time trying to run over My consitutional rights that actually raising their Children proper.

They bought them the game without any background being done but want to put the blame on everyone but themselves. Video games and Xbox Live are NOT babysitters for everyone's kids.

We should report all these parents for child abuse because that is exactly what it is.

If they spent even a third of the time *****ing about games and content on the homeless and more important issues maybe this country wouldn't be sliding into the **** pot that is!

i dont even let my lil bro this game or GTA ....the pn;y game i let him play thats rated M is Halo and The Warriors ....since he loves **** like that and he likes the movie ....and halo isnt a bad game its ****in aliens but wutever its a retarded game ...

i dont understand these ppl...well u can hear the kids on this game online and they think there shootin cops likes its reality ...to many mofos on this game that are ignorant and think there gangsta cuz there playing a shooting game....maybe if kids immature ppl would be serious then it'll be koo....
