Hello everyone,
I am new in the Commandos community and it's my first ever thread. Although I think my arrival will have influence in the community and I hope I will enjoy a long lasting relationship with the community. Now, let me say my word. According to Pyro and everyone, it dawned to me that CSF is going to bring a new era in the strategy first person shooter game series. I always thought that Pyro has never made us disappoint us or, make foul games. They always surprise us with something good and cool. However, the gameplay seems will make our pulse racing. Let's hope it will be brain-teasing as well. I noticed that Pyro has taken special care to the soundtracks. It will be cool also.
But the problem is in the graphics. I was in a site named itself commandosfansite weblink: www.commandosfansite.com (awful site, it is). However, I found loads of screenshots there. But my euphoria of having so much screens did not last long I found most of them are containing poor graphics except the new ones. The finishing was absolutely incredibly poor. On the other hand, the trailer 1 (Before the SAS, Before the Navy Seals....) showed some cool graphics which satisfied me but I am quite confused how the graphics will be? I will admit that making a little better graphics than COD or, MOH is not expected. We want overwhelming graphics that we are used to see in the previous versions. However, I found a thing that might say that CSF will be great. If we check Pyro's progress, we can see Pyro make an over-extraordinary game after making one disappointment. Since many people think C3 is a disappointment (really?), the CSF will of course make a clear word to the other games, "We are not made in earth! We are from Mars!" Anyway, I have read @m's GME report. He said that the first thing you have to do in CSF is to get accustomed with the new viewing system. It's not similar to the other games. Hope it will be so that I can play it (I have problem playing first or, third person shooter. I have headache when I try to play them.) How about the demo? Expect it will be released around the third or, fourth week of February if the release date is 17th March.
Having released a new Commandos game is like having a Christmas!
Although the sniper trailer graphics is awesome!!!
Now, if you are still awoke, let me introduce you with something that will make your jaw drop:
Firstly, I have to say that I am a passionate moderator and love to make games. Let me introduce you with the new technologies which I used to my upcoming mod!

The tools I used to make the new menu can be downloaded from

It is used to create or, watch the bink files of the Commandos 3 game.
Bink are video files situated at drive name: Commandos 3\ Data\ Wofip. So since it is one of the reason of the disappointment of c3 is that no intro, no satisfactory finishing movie as well as no reward for completing a campaign, you can make them with this tools.

Now I have introduced you with these tools and technologies and I have more which I have failed to explain for short time. I will let you know about those later. So I did a favor to you. Now you do a favor to me. My proposal is, although this seems easy after getting my tools in hand, but making a brand new huge, ambitious and cool mod, which will be nearly a new game, only have the skull of previous game is extremely difficult for only a moderator. I have noticed people's interest in modding. But every mod yet released is personal mod not group modding. I think a modding group under the command of a good leader or, designer can change the modding history. So my proposal is, let's stop skulking and come join and make a modding group, which will work tirelessly for modding and fix bugs faster than Pyro. Since Pyro is taking more than two years to make a new game, this team can make new mods (actually games!) in the meantime, which I believe they will be able to present one mod each year. So let's unite the moderators and organize a modding team. That's my proposal.
A modding team will need a Project Leader and Game Designer, A Lead Programmer who mastered the basics of C and C++, Assistant designer, Assistant Programmer, Some artists, Sound and Videos and Music’s will also need a couple of peoples, manager, script writer, testers.
So interested guys should post their mail here: community.sphinx@yahoo.com
However, I was thinking of making a site for the Headquarter of this modding team. But I think there is absolutely no need for it unless any other fan sites are not interested to host this team. I think TAFN or, COMMANDOSHQ, or, other fan sites should find this idea interesting and make a new section for this team.
