System link...?? (xbox)

I'm one of a million or so people who use system link tunneling services
(xlink kai & xb connect)

I've been using the above for about 18 months as i've been unable to get on xbox live due to registration requiring a credit card. and the above alternative is completely free.

The question is will 25 to life feature system link play.

Over the last year system link support has dwindled,
Many presume that microsoft feel that services like those mentioned draw players away from live, but personally i see them as an online gaming alternative especially for those that like myself dont have a credit card.

I was even told by a ubi-soft representative that microsoft had actually added "no voice in system link" to a long line of recommendations (though i expect that to be an excuse after the thousands of complaints ubi recieved after lockdown had no voice, especially when farcry did.)

It would be great to see a few more top titles with system link, as I for one play mostly online so system link is a must for games if i'm to get them anywhere near release if at all.

Also if 25 to life is to contain system links, what features are we likely to see or will it be another lockdown type affair with some features online available on xbox live

I am pretty sure the game supports LAN/system link as well as online play, for those of you with routers and LAN party gaming and so forth....

I get the impression that its not going to be system link from Teamxbox

it only says that it has 1 player and Online Multiplayer 2-16 :(

Not arguing with them but I thought the game also had 720p and so I dont know if that list is right, maybe they didnt get full info. thought for sure that "systemlink" was a greyed out menu option during beta test. :confused:

idk I'm just showing stuff that i have found.. but i thought beta test was ps2 only

The beta was a few months ago. It was only only for 1 system, the ps2. Now were just waiting for the release. :) :thumbsup:
