Graphical Issues w/Deus Ex

I recently installed Deus Ex on my PC. It has a GeForce FX 5200, 512 MB RAM, and a 2.8 Gigahertz Processor.

D3D mode causes flickering of the screen's graphics and soon later a crash. Any fixes? (OpenGL results in the rendering boxes being visible, which also is not fixable via "Running in OpenGL causes this: "UseS3TC=1").

When running under OpenGL, some players can see the rendering boxes around various objects. To correct this, use Notepad to open the DeusEx.ini file in the DeusEx/System folder on your hard drive, and add the line UseS3TC=1 in the OpenGL section. Save the file and restart the game.
