Save a Saved game?

IS there a way to save the game at a particular point, then do a re-load of the software and restore your saved game? I could not find a save game file in the DX folder. I suspect I have a bad install of the Tier level - I don't want to have to replay the entire game up to there, would like to find a way to restore it after the reload.

I could not find a save game file in the DX folder. The saves are located in C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\My Documents\Deus Ex - Invisible War\

If I remember correctly, they don't get deleted if you uninstall the game, but you can back up that directory to make sure.
