Tomb Raider Chronicles Will Not Save! -PC

I installed trc today and played the game, then i tried to save. No save message came up saying "game saved successfully" or whatever and the game just wouldn't save :confused: . Please help me :)

When you save no message will come up and it saves instantaneously. Just try and load from where you think you saved to see whether or not the game saved, my guess is that it worked ;)

Nope, i knew that it hadn't saved because i already tried loading it... so it still doesn't work. :confused:

I take it you're playing on PC?

Make sure you run the game off the shortcut on the desktop or on the start menu. Don't run it from the auto-run screen that comes up when you put the CD in the drive.

Im currently playing it on XP and it works perfectly and I can save it :)
You gotto install the game from the setup in your game.
THAN IT WILL SAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What when you save it make sure you see Streets of rome and you dont have to put the CD in any more.

It still doesnt work, i'm going to try unintalling it and re-installing it again to see if that works. :confused:

Have you tried compatibility mode? Right-click on the .exe file you use to run the game (you can use the one on the start menu). Choose Properties from the menu, and choose the compatibility tab in the dialog box that comes up. Tick "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and choose Windows 98. Though I should warn you that when I put the game in compatibility mode it causes it to crash.

Otherwise, are you using any patches to get the game to work? There is one on >>This Page<< (http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/windowsxp2.html) at TRC that you can try.
