No, actually the release date was never confirmed. Like in the quotes below this text, there were never release dates that were correct. They were all wild guesses provided by non-reliable info (that is why they kept changing). When ever some info came around to sites they would just change them. You could obviously see this when you saw sites that had two totally different release dates. It's all based on how fast they got their info and if it were legit.

The gaming quarter was changed, but that doesn't technically mean a delay in the "release date". I suppose you could say the quarter was delayed but keep in mind that the quarter and the release date are two different things.

technically they only pushed back the estimated realese date, since no official date was ever set, then the game was technically never delayed....technically

read one of the many other posts about people whining about the date getting pushed back......then wait and remember that there still isnt an official realese date yet!

The second quote isn't meant to get on anyones nerves. This is just showing us that the release dates that you "thought" were real were not facts. You would of have to have heard the dates from Eidos itself. If you have heard previous dates stating a specific day from them, then you may correct me and say the release date was pushed back. (Saying the month was moved is not the release date).

By the way.. Any official date would of been emailed to the 25 To Life fans from Eidos. Or it would of been announced like this one: Press Release (http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=54429)

Very Nice. I'm Glad to see that WE have a date. I hope that they have 1 more DEV Interview trailer before letting out the game promo trailer, I'd think that would bye them a little more time and please us too. :) YES, after hearing about SO"camp"3 i can say 25TL MAY IF FACT BE the NEXT RISING STAR for the console gamers both PS2/XBOX. (did we get a 25TL out for 360?) I only say this after playing alot of online games and running a website that had many war ladders for games AND again getting to try the Beta out. If anything PLEASE Give your BEST DEV Interview, BLOW US AWAY, The top spot may be up for grabs. :thumbsup:

(* Dev team please add a option in the players pref. of RADIO SOUND: [ON/OFF] (not game sound) just the radio, let the players know they can control this and have that option. I see this as maybe the only drawback to guys getting 25tl. A few of the other site's forums posters that didn't play the beta, but said they didn't like the hip hop music. Might not get it because of the Radio. At 1st i didn't like the idea of it, But i liked it. Just let the gamers have the option.)

Its not really a debatable issue here. On the site DIRECTLY it said October 2005 and it has now been changed to January 06. Just because it wasn't an EXACT date doesn't mean Eidos didn't have a certain release for it.
