U know what would be bad ass??? if they put attack dogs as like a major reward:) Cops could have police dogs like german shepards and gangsta's could have pit's and rottweiler's:) I mean it U would get it for doing something badass like winning a tournament or 100,000 kills or some ****:)

oh well if you want to know awards... That's easy, they get different clothing I think if you play single player.

It's not like they can give you extras like dogs, guns, or something. I guess they could but so far it's not stated.

There might also be a ranking system but I really don't know at this time.

What I don't understand is... They use real dogs with cops on duty sometimes.

In WWII the Germans used them to for police and security work.

Why can't we use them in a console game?

I see how that could be awesome. It would also take a lot of time to have AI on your side of the force.

Maybe we are just missing the point that Eidos doesn't want to add it because of the work effort that would have to go in the AI and it would be more of an advantage to one side.

Well in any game for any system (even pc) I've not heard of gangsters getting dogs to attack cops in a "police game".

It's also that same issue with perfecting AI in multiplayer to help you out.

Look at "Brothers in Arms". That has AI for your team on multiplayer and it's really not that fun... Imagine tons of dogs on every server.

Hmmmm. That could promote more cheating (since it would benefit the player if they unlocked the dog)... Like in Halo 2, people want a high rank so they look cool.

Yep, people will cheat but if they do it more often other players will out match you if they unlock all the good stuff. Thats why I think there is only clothing to unlock so far and in my opinion that is better than guns. ;)

Well cheating can open doors to more fun for some people.

1. They get weapons in single player early and then can pwn all the enemies.

2. They think its cool because they out did the game.

3. They could use it online to have an advantage and laugh about it to others.

The whole point of cheating is to exploit the rules of the game to get some kind of an advantage.

If it breaks the code in the game or goes around it.. There are so many ways to get by these cheating preventions.

It'd be very hard to give people AI to command in an online game....

this idea has already been used in Dead to Rights. imo i don't like the idea for police dogs. It would be a way for noobs to get kills easier and that's all they will use to get thier score up. like rocket kills in halo 2... :mad:
