This is what happened to Kurtis!

When it comes to Tomb Raider, I only care about the videogames and the movies. Everything else is irrelevant to me. Thus, the question what happened to Kurtis and whether he's still alive or not still stands tall.

So, I ask y'all ... What do YOU think happened to Kurtis? Please don't refer to any comic books and such because I just wanna know what *you in person* believe what happened to him?

I believe he dies at the end of AOD. He was a pretty good character, but not interesting enough to let him reappear such as they beautifully did with Pierre and Larson in TRC. Even though Lara Croft picks up his boomerang and it's still moving a bit at the end of AOD (meaning that, at that particular time, he's still struggling for life) he dies before she can get to him. The guy was good but nowhere near as good as Lara Croft .... no one is; for that matter.

So, what's YOUR opinion on Kurtis Trent? Should he reappear in a Tomb Raider game or get his own games or just be left dead as he is right now?

I believe that Kurtis was injured at the end of AOD but did not die. I am also part of the minority who would some day like to see the AOD trilogy completed. In saying this though, Kurtis needs to be in the game but not as a playable character.

I wouldn't mind having it the other way around. How about a whole new videogame series with Kurtis Trent as the main character and Lara Croft who only appears at the beginning of the first game (and possible latter ones as well if this idea should catch on) to link the events of this new game with the ones of AOD.

I never have followed the AOD story, but I was not aware that it was a trilogy. I mean, I didn't know that it was so complex and intricate. What are the parts?

I believe that Kurtis survived. Boaz was not able to kill him at the end, because Kurtis managed to stand up after the stab. Boaz, however, stole his shuriken and gave it to Karel. When Karel finally died, the shuriken fell to the ground from where Lara picked it up. The shuriken was then free again. Kurtis was somewhere close, because he felt that his weapon was free. He tried to call it and Lara realized that her partner was still alive.

And to please both sides (lovers and haters), Lara gave the shuriken back to Kurtis. Lara decided to take a break and went to America. This is where she met the boss of Crystal Dynamics, who decided to send her to Africa :D Kurtis hasn't decided yet what to do, so he just waits for a proposal :p

I think that Boaz died (she DID got her head sliced off) and Kurtis left his chirugaii on purpose so Lara can find him. She does, and he is bleeding to death outside the Strahov. She takes him to the hospital, and he survives. Then, later she tells him about her battle and about Karel. He says that Karel is not yet dead, and he asks Lara if he can join her to kill him. She says 'No' and returns to tomb raiding life. Kurtis goes after Karel...

Hey! Maybe, if Crystal Dynamics put this scene in the game, then they'll have to make a separate game for Kurtis!!!

(I hope this comes true, as a Kurtis game)

What do I think happened to him? The Chirugai pulled Lara's arm toward the darkened area; I think he was able to crawl into that place. The ending deliberately used this safety net, so that Kurtis could easily be included or omitted in the next game.

As far as I'm concerned, in "AoD 2" :p, Kurtis is alive.

No 'Aod 2', I'm afraid LuxAngel. Legend is a fresh new start for Lara. But I would prefer Kurtis having his own game, if Lara's not working with him.

Hmmmm im not really sure what happened to Kurtis, i actually really liked his character it really suited tomb raider. i hope he is still alive but im thinking that maybe he was trying to survive and that his last bit of energy went into his shruiken as if trying to call Lara but that wouldnt explain why she smiled at the end of the game. i would love to see Kurtis again, in his own game or tomb raider maybe kinda like trying to find Lara ........ oh well im no good with ideas but you get my drift, i hope. Maybe they could put like a demo in with the next tomb raider of game based on Kurtis and see how people reacted to it. So back to the question if hes alive or not, who would know apart from the main producers? im sure will found out one day but at the moment its really buggin me.

Kurtis has been in intensive care and receiving physical therapy learning the correct way to walk, run, jump, and shoot, so that he is at least the equal of Lara Croft in that respect.
Otherwise he's hopelessly outclassed, and not a welcome addition to any Tomb Raider game.

Kurtis crawled out of the Strahov into the cold snow in his weak condition. Lara picks up the chirugai and it pulls her towards the direction on the exit which is trailed with Kurtis' blood. Lara says, "Hold on Kurtis, I'm coming!" Lara steps out of the Strahov into the cold snow where she finds her only friend struggling for his life up against the wall of the building. His breath shallow and his eyes resting. Lara gently shakes Kurtis and says "Kurtis wake up I'm here. We need to get you medical attention and quickly!" Kurtis weakly manages to open his eyes and places his hand on the soft cheek of her gorgeous face and says, "Croft...I.....I" And passes out. Lara quickly grabs bandages from her med kit and attends to Kurtis. She finds Lud****s car parked just down the alley, she "borrows" it and manages to get Kurtis in the passenger's seat. She takes him to the hospital.

In the chair of Kurtis' hospital room, after the tiring events of that day Lara falls asleep and has a horrible dream about her past. <COME IN TR LEGEND>

Kurtis' condition had dramatically improved and he even gained back his conciousness and enough energy to eat and carry on conversations. He hears Lara talking in her sleep saying, "My boobs they're all gone. What did they do to my boobs?" He slowly sit up and he yells, "Lara wake up! Croft get up!
Lara wakes and say,"Wha..? Kurtis!....Oh, I just had a horrible dream. That they tried to take you from me."
Kurtis replies, "Don't worry Darlin'... They can't get rid of me that easily." And he winks at her followed by the adorable smirk.

<And the ANGEL SAGA continues........ and blossoms into a romance between Lara and Kurtis. And The nephilim race is wiped from existence. And the trilogy is awarded GAME OF THE CENTURY!>
