i have the ps2 version of bo2... most of the animations in the game work ok, but at the very end, during kain's and SL's dialogue, everything goes haywire. the video isnt synched with the audio, the video probably lags behind by about 10 seconds. i hear everything up until kain says "including your latest spy, umah!" and then SL starts to say something, and the sequence ends and im dumped into the fight with SL. this has been bothering me for a long time now. could someone tell me what is said at the end, please?

Gabriel ~ You may be better off reviewing the entire dialogue compliments of Ardeth Silvereni and her Dark Chronicle (http://www.dark-chronicle.co.uk/bo2script.html), rather than anyone posting bits and pieces here and there. :)

You're welcome.
With regard to the voice synchronization problem, it has been an issue for many individuals (myself included). I find that it's similar to a Godzilla movie when the English is dubbed over the Japanese and the lip movement doesn't match which is pretty funny, IMO. :p
All I can say is thank heaven for people like Ardeth, for the dialogue so we can catch up on what we missed. :)

yep. :) thanks, ladies.
i was going to buy a new copy if it was just my disc, but i guess i wont bother. i heard a rumor, that the gamecube version of bo2 doesnt have that problem. if GC was a little cheaper, i might have bought it just for that...
oh, and just some technical advice for anyone else having this problem: hitting the ps2 when this bug occurs does NOT fix the problem. ever. :)

lol I'd be surprised if anyone really did that. Shaking the PS2 just makes the lazer move, and inaccurately read the disc. And btw, speaking of these dialogue problems, for anyone is is planning on renting or buying a used BO2, make sure it is not scratched up. I rented one from blockbuster ages ago (before i had my own copy) and it was scratched a lot.. when playing, about half the levels were F-ed up, just like the SL and Kain dialogue. So in my case, it WAS the disc, and in the FAQ I read, it vaguely stated that all copies had scipping dialogues so I didnt presume it to be blockbuster's fault. So be warned :(

well, then, prepare to be surprised. i did! not so much because i thought it would help, i was just quite frustrated and maybe a little angry with it. ok, a lot angry. but thats nothing on the time i was playing GTA: Vice City and i failed a mission for about the 20th time in a row, only that time i should have beat it but some kinda bug or glitch made me lose (cant even remember what happened now...) anyways, i threw the controller across the room, or would have, if it hadnt run out of cord and dragged the ps2 off the top of my tv, where it stopped about halfway to the floor suppored by one of the cords plugged either into an outlet or into my system. after my little tantrum everything was fine except the GTAVC disc, which was somehow damaged. since i borrowed it from a friend, i had to buy him another copy as well as one for myself, since i didnt want to risk damaging his property again. and THEN, on top of all that, for some reason the game save from the disc i damaged and the new disc i bought WERENT COMPATIBLE with each other... so i had to start over from scratch anyway. im lucky something didnt take a ride out the window. oh well... let my stupidity be a lesson to everyone... violence is NOT the solution to every problem. it just makes you feel better for that 10-second to 1-hour period immediately after where you dont care about the consequences. ah well, live and learn...
