the difference between the problem in that thread is their game crashes when you first attack. Mine crashes once the battle is over. However, I did get it to work, it just took me a while to get the Application Compatibility Toolkit to work. I had to use the Win95 setting instead of the Win98 mentioned in that other thread. Thanks for your help.
