Alliance Turn limit

Can someone please tell me where I can view how much time
I've got left on an alliance?

I've joined alliances with other nations after the've asked me to
join but I have no idea of how long the alliance is for until I'm
told later that it has expired.

Is there anywhere I can view the current status of alliances between
countries in particular how long they are in force for?

When you are in analliance, the other members will have a green icon above their capitols. Hold your mouse over one of the capitol buildings and a tool-tip will appear telling you how long the treaty has left. I assume you need to have "Show Tooltips" checked in Options.
