Stupid...but funny TR mistakes :D

Ok, there may have been about 76 threads exactly like this, but I haven't been here recently, so don't throw all your beer cans at me if this is an old thread :D

Did you ever try to do something cool or funny in TR_ but mess up, and it went horribly wrong?

Well... lol i just came in here through the doors, and the samurai floated up while I was waiting (rather impatiently :D) up on the bridge. when he landed, i begin my series of backflips etc. and i did one cool backflip that would have worked fine, but unfortunately lara flipped herself right off that little bridge and fell into darkness :D:p

Okay it might not be sooo funny but it is certanley a stupid mistake.


Okay, so i was fighting the abomination(yes him, i got near the
playstation again!)..i had the shotgun. I had at least 2 more shots to go to beat this guy (it takes at least 20 shots from the shotgun to beat him) when i was going to avoid him, okay is hot him then i shot him the last doing a backflip to avoid his charging fist, i shot him he keeled over..then i realized i was falling. Darn i shot him beat him and died.

Here's my story.

Once, one of my friends and I were playing TR2 Venice, the very end bit where you try to go through the timed door with the boat. I had managed to do it before, but she tried and tried and just couldn't. She got really frustrated, so I took the controls and started to show her how to do it. I was like 'Look, you'll go from here, and use the turbo, make it real fast, and straight through here...' I came to the final bit, where you go straight ahead and pass through the door. When I entered that canal, I turned to her and was saying stuff like: 'Look, you go straight ahead, it's just that simple'. She suddenly started laughing and pointing to the screen, said: 'Like this, you mean?' I looked at the screen and saw that the door had closed and I had crashed the boat to the door and died!!! lol :D It gave us a really good laugh :D

One of my most frustrating moments was when Lara was falling down some endless cliff (I think in TR2; I remember ice) and I didn't want to see her die, yet again, so I quickly pressed F6 to reload the game before she died. Accidently I pressed F5 to save the game, instead. I automatically pressed enter to save the game in mid-fall. My previous saved game was pretty far back.
