When I fight with the gollems in the central hall in Vorador's mansion, the doors which close near the beginnig of the fight do not re-open. I was able to use the other two doors in the hall, so I did not heed it. Now, after I had gotten the heart seeker, I cannot re-enter Voradors mansion, since the doors are still closed, and there is *no* other way to enter the place. I am absolutely certain it is a bug, I cannot, however, reload, since I have no more save-games from the period before I fought the gollems.

Please, can someone help me with this bug?

Most likely, it sucks. I was playing as Kain looking for the Time Emblem (2nd part of Vampire Citadel) and this room I feel down to had 2 Golems that were supposed to come to life, but they didn't and I had to restart my game, ALL over again.

Is there no other way to fix that problem?? And why happend that? because of the savegames???

Does that bug still happen after patching the game? because the first time I played LOK:defiance I met no bugs whatsoever, it was the same when I applied the patch, I guess you should try the patch and see if it fixes the problem.

The door bug happened to me on the PS2 version, so it's definitely a bug... and as far as I can tell there is no way of reopening those doors once they've closed... and yes, I did have to start the game all over again because I too had no earlier saves.

In the future I'm just not going to save during that section, of course this will mean completing the mansion in one sitting (not an impossible task) but it means that if it all goes t****s up I can just reload and have another crack at it. It's a frustrating option, but a necessary evil if I want to complete the game (again.)

In the Citadel, as Kain, I had the worst luck when no enemies fought me, no statues, no golems, no cenobites, whatever, nothing, yet the portals remained opened, so I finished the chapter in less than 5 minutes.
