awh darn I'm jealous. your so much closer to it than I am. my oldest daughter was in georgia for a couple of years (army stuff) and I was never able to make the trip. in fact she was just in virginia a few months ago. well go see it if you can. I dont think I'll be able to take the fam any time soon.

Am I the only one not excited by this? It's just one of those wheels that flips you upside-down, although now they want to shoot water and steam at us while having the area around it look Raider-esque. Not very 'Tomb Raider' if you ask me.

You gotta admit, Paramount are certainly getting their reportedly £1million dollar rights out of the Tomb Raider motion pic franchise!

I think anything to promote Tomb Raider now is a good idea. TR needs all the help it can get. Why are you being so pessimistic about it? Don't be so closed-minded about it.

I'm not being close-minded or pessimistic. I'm just giving my opinion because everyone posting in this seems so excited.

I'm sure the ride will do good because it's going to be new; I just don't see the big deal about it. I've seen so many of those kinds of rides that I don't see the reasoning to put Tomb Raider in the name (well I do actually, because it is all in the 'name' of money). It's just not Tomb Raider.

If you throw a few 'The Little Mermaid' decorative lawn gnomes around it you got yourself a "The Little Mermaid: Rough Waters" ride. Good idea? I don't think so.

for my part its not about the excitement of a new tombride but the fact that TR gets more free press which is not a bad thing. for me the integrity of the game is one thing but getting publicity for TR is another.
2nd for those stopping by this site I would hope that they would see our enthusiasum for TR and not indifference. if they dont see us enthused why should they be?
for the sake of our game lets show them nothing negative or even hinting at it. the more players the more future games (my hope).
please, I'm not meaning to diss anyone. I was hooked on TR back in the 90's but was not able to play it much until the last 3.5 yrs. I may be new to the forum but not new to the passion. I'd like to see it go on a good deal longer.
