Tomb Raider

Has any one here started not to like tomb raider 1 after they played 2 or 3?

cause i sort of did..i mean it looked so primitive :p
But the story line was cool..but i never did get use to the graphics in Tr1 since i saw Tr2.Purple

i like it...i am not used to the graphics anymore...i need good graphics now a days..... :p

for christmas my mom got me and my brother TR 1,2 and 3. TR 1 wouldnt work on our computer the graphics were terible and we tried everything so we played TR 2 and finished that now we are working on TR 3 and TR 1 is at our uncles house. out of that 3 it like TR 2 the best. but i want TR 2 gold is that what its called im not sure what the whole series of TR even is. what are all the games called?? :)

i played them out of order, tr2 first, then tr3, then tr1, then tr4 etc. so i was VERY dissapointed w/ the graphics on tr1, but it's still a good game, i like them all ;)chocolate

If it's the graphics that are putting you off, why not try using the Glidos patch?

Try the 3dfx patch from Eidos, it's work for me and my V3 3k!

I started with TR2
but then when I plaid in TR1 I thought (and I still do) that it was a classic...:D
too bad it doesn't work on my computer anymore :(
the color-fonts....this is pretty old to me :p too bad they don't allow us to use Avatars (pictures under our screen names)

I started with TR2, then 3, 4, 5 then went back and played 1, so the graphics were quite a shock but the game still ruled and kicked bottom. m u lt i

The first game I played was TR5 and then at a friends house I asked to play her TR1. When I saw the graphics I told her I didn't want to play anymore. I could hardly recognize Lara. When I got TRLR I didn't know what it meant when it said "newly developed smooth skin technology." Now that I've seen the previous games graphics, I thank Core for new graphics.

TR1 has the best feel of all the games.. but if it was redone with, say, the TR2 engine, it would be a much better game, In my opinion...:)

Glidos is a program that 'upgrades' the look of a game. You can download it here. (http://www.glidos.net/) I haven't tried it but it seems to work. Beware: when you download the shareware version you will get a message every level or so asking you to register or something (that's what I've heard).

Okay i rather stick too...The odinary tomb raider graphics. CHOCOLATE IS THE BEST!!!!!chocolate
