New format? HDTV has nothing to do with compression its just a higher resolution. So in other words you are saying you're just making your videos a higher resolution? :)

Shouldn't a Mac with Windows Media Player still be able to play them? I get sound but no picture. I retrospectively looked at your post. ;)

I didn't know Windows Media Player was available for MAC. Hold fire for the QuickTime versions for your MAC. You'll be very impressed with the quality. :)
The picture above is an actual frame from the movie.

Weird, isn't it? :D But I'm quite grateful sometimes, or I'd miss out on some cool things (http://www.skeletorandgang.tk). I suppose it's sort of like MS Office being available for Mac.
OK, I'll wait for the QT ones. ;) The picture is definitely very crisp and rich looking. I know what height of lorry I can't drive under that bridge. ;)

Model Jill de Jong was crowned the new face of Lara Croft at the official unveiling of Lara Croft Tomb Raider The Angel Of Darkness in 2002 at London's Pasha night club and has since appeared in numerous promotions as British adventurer Lara Croft. Play TV caught up with Jill de Jong and quizzed her on following in the footsteps of Rhona Mitra, Nell McAndrew, Lara Weller and Lucy Clarkson. Lara Croft Tomb Raider The Angel Of Darkness never achieved the critical acclaim Eidos had hoped, even though developer Core Design approached the project on a grand scale usually only reserved by the motion picture industry. The Angel Of Darkness burst onto the PC and Playstation 2 console in 2002 propelled to the scene by a torrent of promotional media, led by a very special Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound trailer announcing the return of Lara Croft.
We are proud to present - making its online debut - the original broadcast Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and HDTV trailer showcasing a score performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. Follow the hyperlink below and immerse yourself in the rich world of Lara Croft and a stroll down memory lane.

We recently traded in our digital cable box for the high definition box.
(no extra charge)
We've had an HD tv for a couple years, but no HD signal until recently.
I gotta say that the HD picture is extremely noticably better than a standard
digital signal. It's even noticably better than the picture on a dvd.
The newer Mac OSX op system can play Windows Media Player files.
I'm still on my five year old iMac with OS9, but I'm getting a new
one in the next few months.
