View Full Version : Quiet

just to quiet here...
It kinda gives the feeling where you don't see anyone but there still there somewhere.. hidding in the shadows.. waiting to do something when you'r not looking.
*listens to the quietness ...
Anyways i managed to get this game last week during a "we wanne get rid of this game" moment at a toystore near here. More commenly known as a "Discount game". One moment you can't find it anywhere, next you'r tripping over them. There where about 10~ games hidding in the pile of games, all for 5 euro's.
But no doubt the masses are more interrested in the more "hyped" up games that where nicely stacked above it. Specialy during these holidays...
But enough ranting about that. Just wanted to drop by in this quiet little place and say how great (and addictive ) this game is. Now i still got to get a copy for my mom.. before she claims mine as her own ..
Loved the last mission. Took me a long time, but felt great beating them.
Hardest part was to get enough funding and keep my army happy. A lot ran off right before i attacked the last one. Worst thing that happend was that the door closed when half my forces where still on the wrong side of the door. That seriously takes a chunck out your energy reserves. Not to forget the massive amount of notify icons you get.
But i gone be quiet now...

This place is full of old ghosts...

Like hell i am going to run.
Specialy not for a few "old" ghosts, hehe
At least there is some activity around here.
Almost got scared no one plays the game anymore.
Kickass system, enough to play HL2 and equal without stutter and what do i use it for... to play an old classic game, and loving it too.
*checks to make sure that not more ghost have appeared in the mean time*
on a side note, i started with the 2 extra missions from mucky foot, to bad you don't hear VAL's voice with everything.
Love that V.A.L. , oh well i'll live trough it..

Hah, I bet none of you can beat my Kung-Fu Monk from Neverwinter Nights!
Behold and quake in fear! Watch as he takes out an army of Orcs, Goblins and Bugbears with just his fists! Watch in terror as he kicks the undead assess of the undead and drags whole dragons into hell! Wuhaaaaa!
. . .
Uh . . . Now, how do you play Dungeons and Dragons again?
01-04-2005, 12:17 PM
Well first you get a character sheet and think about what type of character you want, insane yet superpowerful sorcerer? Studious Wizard? Greedy Rouge? Arse-Kicking supervillain? And then based on that you pick a race and class...
*continues to ramble on about Dungeons and Dragons v3-v3.5 until even the unrestful dead have fallen asleep*
01-04-2005, 10:22 PM
Actually . . . I guess I'll just be the Dungeon Master! Okay, lemme' see here . . . Now you two magically disappear and logically reappear in the middle of the vast Tiaga of Russia and all the sudden, a senile old wizard starts beating you with his wooden staff and, uh . . . Canadian biker thugs come out of nowhere and start to, um . . . antagonize you with their clubs, chains and random profanities!
