Moebius (SPOILERS)

[The Elder God]

At the end of Defiance we see Moebius alive, when he actually was supposed to be dead. I know that he was brought back by the Elder God, but why did he do that when there was no actual purpose to that? The Elder God himself stated that there was no further use for Moebius after Raziel devoured his soul.

What use? And how long his life was intended to be if Kain did not survive in the Sarafan Stronghold (SR2)? That kinda bothers me.

There's always use for a useful idiot:p. EG probably planned to keep Moebius around to keep the humans in line and prevent the humans from refusing the wheel too. EG only said Moebius was no longer useful after Moebius saw EG's true form and freaked out.

Well, it didn't really matter whether EG had use for him anymore or not. because once Raziel reaved him, there was no returning for him. So why not make Raziel think that you did him a favor?

It;s like EG said early on in Defiance "Even when you defy me, you are doing what I want". Or something like that.

Yeah, I'm not sure the quote either.. but its something along those lines..

and I agree, its like if someone breaks something of yours just to spite you and you don't want to give them the saticfaction..

EG just says.. "well I was going to buy a new one of those anyways" when on the inside he's like "DARNIT!! Do you know how hard it is to get one of those."

True, Moebius did freak out. If the case where Squiddious can respin souls that Raziel has devoured I cant imagine he would want to resurrect Moebius due to his fear.

I cant imagine many people doing your bidding if they are scared whitless, then again that used to happen back in the days :p.
