After I grab the mask, I try to go to the computer to put the painting in and nothing happens. Is that a glitch. What can I do?

in a walkthrough-it says u can do that......but mine doesnt either

You must be looking at the Prima Guide.

Page 108: "Take the Obscura Painting #1 and insert it into the x-ray machine."

The Prima Guide is wrong. It may be for the game as planned, but it frequently differs from the game as published.

After you have the mask, just leave the room.
