I don't play many games but especially enjoy final fantasy games and other offerings from Square (chrono trigger, kingdom hearts etc) as well as namco titles, namely tekken.


That's about all I have the time for nowadays really. I enjoyed the res evil 1 remake a LOT on the gamecube. the nostalgia coupled with one of the best games ever made it a lot of fun.

Ahh, Doom. That game's priceless, especially if you get the "all enemies are Barney" mod.

Let's see, other games I play. Lately, I've been playing shooters like Unreal Tournament and Aliens vs. Predator to take my mind off of... something incredibly depressing that I can't discuss here. I'll just list other games I've played a lot within the past couple years and actually own.

Doom 2? I've played through the game but I can't remember the level that is in those screenshots (I mean the one which is outdoors with stars shining above you...the levels that take place in Hell I remember well). Anyway, this is a list of games I've played during the last 2 months.

Doom 3 is nothing like the original Doom and it's nothing more than a darker Horror version of Half-Life. I would Suggust Painkiller or Serious Sam if you want true Doom 2 style gameplay.

Not to metion that I also want LOK6 to be in a style of Doom 2 or Painkiller gameplay also but in 3rd person.

Remeber Doom fans have made countless levels/mods so it's really hard to trust you memories.

There's 3 pics that are from Hell Revealed (pics with the Night Sky) and the last pic is from Nuts3.wad but the other pics (that looks like the Icon of Sin level) I'm sure there from and they could be edited.

I'm playing Star Wars: Battlefront
That's a fun game. There are few things more enjoyable than slaughtering your enemies with their own vehicles. I'm especially fond of the walkers.

p.s. What's with all this Doom bickering? The game is prehistoric, but at the time it was pretty darn cool.

i think it's because there are some folks who enjoyed that game when it was new and remember the rush of playing it...imagine playing Fill in favorite old-school game here and it was a new interactive way of playing games...
then hear someone bash it because it's old.

for a better example look no further then the original Blood Omen.

p.s. doom 1 & 2 sucked compared to duke nukem 3d!!!

Yeah, Duke was a great game. I just about passed out laughing when I killed the second boss and got that "lovely" cutscene. Duke was another one of those milestone games like Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Quake II, Half Life, Diablo, etc.

p.s. If you like Duke, watch Army of Darkness.

well it was not just the violence...the sophmoric humor was good in duke nukem 3d;
as were the hidden parodies of quake,indiana jones, the terminator and then some...you go to the san andreas faultline and find a huge ancient alien ship crashed right in the center.

it was filled with surprises.

I take it someone's not a fan of old-school shooters. Really, none of them had much of a plot back then. Marathon did, but nobody remembers Marathon.

Because they broke into your space station and masacred all of your friends leaving you the sole survivor. They were also going to invade earth I believe
