View Full Version : Thief II The Masks

Hello Guys, I still could'ent master the Courier and advanced to the Blood Trail:rolleyes:
Now my problem is: When playing "Casing" there was no Corespondence between Gervais & The Machinists (scrolls, letters ) in the Library (this was optional) "BUT" now in the "Masks" where it is a requirement I've done every-thing but this. I can not find the above. I've mapped all the floors.
Where are they hiding ?

You need to explore the library very well. There is a conversation between the guard and the new librarian at the southeast corner by the secret stairs that you need to hear.
If you missed this, and many do because they rush the missions, then check the alphabets on the bookshelves. If you pay attention an error will be apparent.
Then you must READ ALL THE LOVE NOTES BETWEEN THE MURDERED LOVERS.
Then check all the shelves again.
If you really want to give up, then go to the upstairs far right corner. A missing row of books will magically appear. The documents will be on the floor.
But, I suggest you take a little more time with your playing. Slow down, look before you walk around a corner, and check each room carefully, listen to every conversation.
These are extremely important to success in the missions.

Thanks again, I was looking for the letters then the Love Notes and Secret Room with the bodies and did'nt go back up stairs
Of course that completed all the objects. So as I started to Exit I came though the big room with the "Lights & Switches to turn of the poison gas" and as I went up the small flight of stairs (with the alarm button) to the right. I broke the Window glass and stepped out on the edge, took a step. "ZIP" Mission completed.
Ever hear about that way??.

Exit the mission is the objective. Many have gone out the door, and many others have gone through the window.
I presume you located the documents. If the mission ended without that completed then I would be surprised.
