I seem to be having problems with this, anyone have any suggestions? It involves a conversation you overhear behind a sealed door, but the thing keeps repeating everytime I re-enter the area. When I use a destroy trap it doesnt work at all.

i've set them up to make the soundtrap control the destroy trap that then controls the soundtrap & that worked fine to get something to play once and only once.

You can also save an object by making the schema you use for it one-shot. Like, hijack a Garrett comment that you're not using in the mission... they're all one-shot in T2.

Use a votrap, that fires once seeing as its a voice over trap.

That wouldn't be appropriate in this case though, since VOTraps sound "in your head" and soundtraps seem to originate from the location of the trap (like an object or marker with the Ambient hacked prop).
