No, its just looking at it from a different angle. Plus that was on the back cover of the game box and they had some guns other people were asking about. Those guns were the firsts, mere prototypes that did not pass the look test. Before, you saw a boxy shaped gun, now you see the plasma autorifle.

yea, if you check the free radical websites screens, all of them feature the early gun versons, a they probebly went though many diffrent ideas before selecting the right ones,
