i duno if you guys are likely to be RTS realism freaks like me lol, but i urge everybody to give this game or atleast a game in the series a try!!

Its absoloutly amazing!, over 10,000 soldiers can be on screen at one time all rendered in beautiful 3D and it runs great even on my not-so-high-end comp

if you've played a previus TW game you'd know the gameplay is completely unique, ultimate realism and strategy at its finest aswell as turn based strategy inbetween battles to decide the building of your empire!

i've only got a Fileplanet (uck!) link at the mo, there are likely much better mirrors avalialbe if you search though

some screenies of the final game (the demo hasn't got a screenshots folder:( so i can't show you my great Carthigian victory lol;) )

As a courtesy to the community, please do not post images that drastically distort the forum layout. If an image that you wish to post does do this, please resort to linking to it instead. Additionally, it's important not to hot-link to webspace that does not belong to you as per our request in the eighth (8th) post of this thread). well, i'm really looking for a *strategy* not-get-100-tanks-and-attack game. so i'm looking for shogun now, since i've no chance of downloading that demo with my connection. :( ah well, guess i'll wait for it to come out.

you won't be disapointed! TW games are incredably strateigic

its all about flanking manouvers, managing the terrain, Fatigue, Morale and Troop strengths, aswell as the empire building strategy on the campeign map

may i reccomend Medieval: Total War if Shogun is proving hard to find, its the game that got me hooked!

it's not that it's too hard to find, i'm just too darn lazy to go get it :D i'm looking for shogun because of my liking of japan :)
