Gamestopping bug (possible spoilers)

Im at the part in DX where Paul is in the Ton and you gotta transmit the msg to NSF, he says to go through the tunnel by the bar that was previously barracaided, well i go to it and the door is closed....is there a switch that i missed or something? or is my game screwed and i have to start over?

nevermind guys, i figured it out myself i guess, i went back to the Ton and talked with Paul again and snooped around the town, went back to the tunnel and the door was open....strange heh.
