Can't play the game

I can't play the game. When I start the game the screen goes white, I can cycle through the weapons, I can shoot them but I wont see a thing. Here are my specs.

NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Ultra
Pentium 4 1.6 GH
256mb if RAM

I have the same problem. My specs are:

Pentium 4 2 GH
524 ram
Nvidia Geforce FX 5600

If anyone has the answer I'd like to know.

you could check faq's on the Eidos support page for the more precise problems but it says yer vid drivers are probably outdated which seems to be a big problem for nvidia cards so that might do the trick. you also want to dl the v1.74 patch and directx9.0b

i have p4 2.2 739mb ram fx 5200 and i can play just fine.
try downloading newest drivers from Nvidia.
maybe u need more RAM.

erickwan: password is prob right about the drivers. however, more ram? are you sure you even HAVE 4 gigs? yer prob mistaken cuz nothing short of a 64 bit processor can handle more than 2 gigs, HT or no HT.

I have that exact same card and I had that exact same problem. The way to fix it is first of all, make sure you have the newest drivers from nvidia (obviously enough), then load up the game, go into graphics options, and make sure Post Filter is set to disabled. Should work fine then. :)

oh.... hitman contracts only work with windows me and win xp with admin rights. Connect your pc to the internet and download all the lastest win me updates or windows xp updates. Fafnir is correct too.
