I'm playing BO1 on a PS2 and I see how in some parts of the game (like when there are too many enemies flinging fireballs) it starts bogging down.
Is this because they didn't know the tricks for streamlining the code back then? I realize that the PS2 is more powerful than the PS1, but I don't think that is a factor.
