Eeek. They've got spyware there in full motion and you didn't know??
I recommend you unistall quickly before your computer fills up with trash.

So what u r saying is that u can install anything u want, even spyware programs like HotBar,SmileyCentral and heck lot more and don't care since u have Ad-Aware ?
Life would be pretty easy then wouldn't it ? :D ;)
I'll see what Mods think of this.

What do you mean by that...?
Anyway, if anyone wanted to answer my first question simply forget it... A virus attacked Ad-Aware:mad: and i had to uninstall both... Unfortunately i broke my Ad-Aware CD too... *cries*
All bad things to my life happened today...
-MOM, EXTINGUISH THAT FIRE IN THE LIVING ROOM AND FOR CHRISTS SAKE KILL THAT SCORPION...!!!!:D

I wish the Eidos forums would give us more smilies; then we would have to go to places like that. But I understand, if they don't want to.
How does spyware work exactly? No one's ever told me the basics.

The program scans the computer for files that have been activated during your visit to the internet... Then it compares the matches with it's database and if something is a Trojan Horse or another spyware it gets wiped out, for good... Ad-Aware prevents the same file to enter your PC again... (IIRC):D

As in a short way:
1)Stalkers who fallow everything of yours.....except you takin a damp...a nobody wants to see that :D :p ;)
2)When for a longer time on your computer (or anyways,I forgot the details),it can slow it down by all its crap it has or something like that (sorry Mods,I don't have other word for it)
I can tell you right now, some reported that they got Virus from SmileyCentral .
So much of that "Hey I have a SpyWare,u can't do nothing nanananananana" *bang*
Hey whatta happen to my ad-aware  :D

Of course you can take precautions... like an anti-spam, anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-whatever firewall...:p
To Invinsible: I didn't quite understand what you meant in your previous post...

The internet is such a great communication medium and it's a pity that you have to go so defensive these days to use it.
