She must talk to him in the cutscenes if she wants to progress in the game and get some info out of him.He's not that ugly.I think he's Fabio compare to Kurtis....no offence :D

You're supposed to freak out. It's a fantasy experience - if you recall, you didn't undertake this "journey" for practical reasons. Upon completing the game, you will not receive such much as a grocery coupon as a prize. You're doing this for FUN. And scaring the crap out of yourself from time to time is an important part of that fun. So suck it up and dive back in there - and keep a barf bag handy, just in case.:D
